PETER SAGAL, HOST:

Now, panel, what is next for Newt Gingrich? Paula Poundstone?

PAULA POUNDSTONE: Newt Gingrich will, in fact, colonize the moon, from where he will teach a remarkable online bluster course.

(SOUNDBITE OF LAUGHTER)

SAGAL: Amy Dickinson?

AMY DICKINSON: Oh, he's going to power down Callista, pack her in Styrofoam peanuts and take her back home to Georgia.

(SOUNDBITE OF APPLAUSE)

SAGAL: And Tom Bodett?

TOM BODETT: With his medications properly adjusted at last, he will happily return to being a bizarre but oddly lovable history professor at a small western Georgia college.

(SOUNDBITE OF LAUGHTER)

CARL KASELL: Well, if Newt Gingrich does any of those things, panel, we'll ask you about it on WAIT WAIT...DON'T TELL ME!.

(SOUNDBITE OF APPLAUSE)

SAGAL: Thank you, Carl Kasell. Thanks also to Tom Bodett, Paula Poundstone, Amy Dickinson. Thanks to all of you for listening. We'll see you next week, Lincoln, Nebraska.
