KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jawole Willa Jo Zollar is back in town this month, working with an international cast on a new piece about migration and immigration. KCUR's Sylvia Maria Gross caught up with Zollar just before a rehearsal to find out how a visit to her hometown is shaping the dance.

A free public showing of visible, a work in progress, will be presented at the Leedy-Voulkos Gallery tonight (May 20, 2011) at 7pm as part of the America: Now and Here
series of events.

An extended version of this story airs on KC Currents, Sunday at 5pm and Monday at 8pm. To listen on your own schedule, subscribe to the KC Currents Podcast.
