Jefferson City, MO – The Missouri Supreme Court has set an October 20th execution for Roderick Nunley, one of two men convicted of killing a 15 year old Kansas City girl. The legal case has dragged on since 1989.
Ann Harrison was an honor student at Raytown South High School, kidnapped waiting for a school bus in eastern Kansas City. She was raped and stabbed , left to die in a car trunk.
Michael Taylor and Roderick Nunley were convicted, sentenced to die. Each blamed the other.
Appeals that have kept the men alive this long have ranged from legality of the method of execution to drug use of the pair. Court documents showed they were strung out on crack cocaine when Ann Harrison was killed.
