Here's Your Guide To Keep Getting KCUR In Your Facebook Feed

Facebook is changing its News Feed algorithm again, but there's an easy way to keep getting KCUR's content every day.

Social media platforms are increasingly important for sharing information and getting news from around the world. But changes to Facebook's News Feed algorithm that are meant to emphasize family and friends' posts will make it harder to get the news you need from KCUR.

We know — that last sentence put you in a cold sweat. Don't panic, folks. There's an easy way to make sure KCUR's content makes it to your feed:

  1. "Like" KCUR 89.3 on Facebook. You can't get our posts in the first place if you don't follow our page.
  2. Choose to "See First." Once you've tapped or clicked "Like" on KCUR's main page, you should see a button next to it that says "Following" (See image above). Tap, click or hover over that button and simply click "See First" on your News Feed.

And that's it! Seeing our content first will ensure that you don't miss any important updates on news from across the Kansas City metro. You can also edit your notification settings under the same "Following" tab to receive alerts when we create events or start Facebook Live videos.

If you're on Twitter and Instagram, be sure to follow us there too for more stories, photos and news.
