Kansas City's Federal Reserve President Says The Road To Economic Recovery Is A Long One

Shutdown precautions taken at the onset of the pandemic were drastic, "but the truth is I don't think there were any alternatives," Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City President Esther George said. "We have to rely on our public health authorities."

The Federal Reserve Bank System has been busy trying to get the economy back on track after major setbacks caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
