How To Keep The Kansas News Service In Your Facebook News Feed

Facebook is changing its algorithm again. Here's how you can keep up with the Kansas News Service.

Facebook is changing its News Feed algorithm to show you more content from your friends, family and Facebook groups. That means more baby pictures (aw!) and fewer posts from brands and local news organizations like the Kansas News Service.

Here's how you can keep seeing posts from the Kansas News Service in your Facebook feed:

  1. Like us on Facebook. If you don't already, be sure you "Like" our page on Facebook.
  2. Choose to "See First." Next to the "Like" button, move your cursor over the word "Following" (See image above). From there, you can choose "See First" from the drop down menu.

This will help our posts show up on your News Feed more prominently, so you won't miss any important news updates from the Kansas News Service. You can also edit your notification settings to receive an alert when we create an event or start a Facebook Live video.
And if you're on Twitter, be sure to follow @ksnewsservice for all the latest in politics, health and education in Kansas.
