Kansas Citians Weigh In On The City's Best Bathrooms

Greg Hall shared this photo with us when we asked for best bathroom suggestions in Kansas City. Hall tweeted that the Kansas City Royals' Crown Club men's restroom is fit for a 'Sultan of Swat.'

Apparently, blogging about bathrooms is a thing in Kansas City.

We spoke with two people who write about the Kansas City bathroom scene this week on Central Standard.

"A Bathroom Site" blogger Kayla Regan judges local water closets on privacy and cleanliness. For "Pee Party" blogger David Hudnall of The Pitch, he knows he's found a good bathroom when the room has some sort of odd flourish.

Their subject matter fascinated us so much, we took to social media and our airwaves and asked, "Where are the best bathrooms of Kansas City?" Listeners flooded us with suggestions.

Any of the bathrooms in the original Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art are gorgeous, @citygirl1613 tells us on Twitter.

"How grand they are and it feels like you have walked back in time," she tweets. "Maybe Matisse or Degas will stroll in."

On Twitter, @wgbenson tells us that his wife loves the large baby changing area and private nursing rooms at Union Station.

"The bathrooms feel like a piece of history, not an afterthought," he tweets.

On Facebook, Ashlee Broom brags about the "bright, high ceilings" at The Sundry.
