NPR Music's Tiny Desk Contest is kind of a big deal. From Tank and the Bangas to Fantastic Negrito, thousands of artists and bands from across the world enter each year for a chance at a featured video behind NPR Music's hallowed desk.

This year, KCUR is helping to spread the word even further by showcasing Kansas City's talented artists.

Tag your 2018 Tiny Desk Contest submission with #TinyDeskKC

NPR Music's 2018 Tiny Desk Contest is live now, with submissions due March 25. Tag your video post with #TinyDeskKC and KCUR will help spread the word about it. We'll be featuring three KC bands on our website, on air and during a showcase event at Bier Station on May 5.

But we don't want to pick all the featured bands: We want you to vote on your favorite to join in the fun and be part of our featured content and event.

Check back for a voting form soon, and be sure to check out all of the submissions for NPR Music's 2018 Tiny Desk Contest here
