Snow Affects Elections, Area Recreation

Beth Lipoff

Whether you're lining up to vote or hitting the slopes, the snow will affect your day Tuesday.

In the first part of Tuesday's Up to Date, we'll talk with Wyandotte County Election Commissioner Bruce Newby about the primary election and how the weather will affect voter turnout.

Later, we'll check in with Dave Grenier, manager of the Snow Creek ski slopes on how the two snow storms are helping the business.

When I host Up To Date each morning at 9, my aim is to engage the community in conversations about the Kansas City area’s challenges, hopes and opportunities. I try to ask the questions that listeners want answered about the day’s most pressing issues and provide a place for residents to engage directly with newsmakers.
