Susannah Cahalan is a reporter for the The New York Post. She has a degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times and The Czech Business Weekly. Jeff Shaara is the author of Gods and Generals, The Last Full Measure, Gone For Soldiers, Rise To Rebellion, The Glorious Cause, To The Last Man, The Rising Tide, No Less Than Victory, The Final Storm and A Blaze of Glory. Gods and Generals became a feature film in 2003. He serves on the board of trustees for the Civil War Preservation Trust. Mark Lee Gardner has appeared on the History Channel, PBS American Experience, ABC World News, Encore Westerns Channel, NPR and BBC Radio as an authority on the American West. His otherworks include To Hell on a Fast Horse, and articles for the Los Angeles Times, American Heritage, Wild West, American Cowboy and New Mexico Magazine.
