Tell KCUR: Why Do People Leave The Kansas City Area? Have You Ever Left?

KCUR

In 2014, we launched a series to look at why people come to Kansas City and why they stay, called Going To Kansas City.

We heard from a soccer player who fell in love with the city after reluctantly being drafted, a Broadway performer who wanted to be closer to family, and a woman who ended up finding great friends after crying all the way here.

But now we are curious why people leave— or why they would consider leaving.

Tell KCUR: Why do people leave the Kansas City area? Have you ever left?

If you have left, why did you leave? And if you haven't, is there something that would make you consider it?

Tweet your answers with the #TellKCUR hashtag or go to our Facebook page and leave your answer in a comment. You also can leave us a message at 816-235-2881. Or fill out this form.

We’ll share your stories Thursday online and on the air during KCUR’s daily talk show Central Standard, which starts at 10 a.m. Find the live stream here
