WATCH: Mayor Sly James Honors His World Series Bet, Sings 'Amazing Grace'

Kansas City Mayor Sly James recently honored a World Series bet he made with San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee while in California over the weekend. James sang "Amazing Grace" at Reverend Cecil Williams Glide Memorial Church. James was in San Francisco over the weekend for the 83rd annual U.S. Conference of Mayors.

Before his serenade, James took a brief moment to comment on the tragedy in Charleston, South Carolina, and criticized the prominence of the confederate flag.

Even though Kansas City didn't win the World Series, according to San Francisco Chronicle reporter Kale Williams, KC still won mayor with the coolest name
