The Techsperts: Technology News & Holiday Gift Giving Guide

The tablet computer is one of the most popular tech gifts this holiday season, and according to a new survey, within three years, there will be 89.5 million tablet owners in the United States. That's right: nearly one in three web-connected Americans will own one.Today the Techsperts -- Justin Parlette and Dustin Jacobsen -- share their favorite tech gadgets for the gift-giving season and review the latest technology news and developments in the Kansas City area and around the globe.

Dustin Jacobsen, vice president of Social Media and Technology at Barkley, leads the agency on interactive, mobile, social and emerging technology projects. Jacobsen holds a BS from Iowa State University and an MBA, magna cum laude, from Baker University. Justin Parlette, support systems administrator at University of Missouri - Kansas City, is an Apple Certified Technician who provides support and advice to staff and faculty on campus, with an emphasis on Apple technology. Parlette is also the founder of Happy Underground Films, LLC, which has released the first season of the critically acclaimed webseries DEAD WAIT.
