When you're a parent—especially a first-time parent—you worry about all kinds of things you see in your baby's development.
In the second part of Monday's Up to Date, Dr. Elizabeth Simpson, a pediatric specialist at Children's Mercy Hospital and Truman Medical Center, joins Steve Kraske to discuss what’s normal to see — and what’s not — as your baby grows, whether you start out with a preemie or a full-term infant.
Dr. Elizabeth Simpson practices at Children’s Mercy Hospital and is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She is the Medical Director of Routine Newborn Services at Truman Medical Center Hospital Hill. Dr. Simpson is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
