Fund For Teachers Lets Educators Bring Unique Experiences To Their Classrooms

Fund for Teachers provides local educators the money to gain unique experiences from around the world and bring them back to their students, and school communities. On this edition of Up To Date, guest host Danie Alexander talks with a panel about the process and results of this program.

  • Karen Webb is the Executive Director of Fund for Teachers. 
  • Jay Pitts-Zevin is a language arts teacher at Alta Vista Charter High School in Kansas City, Missouri.
  • Kathleen Hammond teaches art at University Academy, a K-12 school also in Kansas City, Missouri.
