Kansas City, MO – As of this week, officials with the Brigade, Kansas City's new arena football team, have sold in the neighborhood of 7300 season tickets, almost half the capacity of Kemper Arena, a week before the season home opener on February 12th. Officials say the success of sales may be that The Brigade reflects what a football town Kansas City has become, or it's just the right thing at the right time. Professional sports, after all -- the Chiefs and the Royals in particular -- have had less than stellar performances in recent years.
Joining us to talk about the new team and his hopes for it's success is Neil Smith, one of the team's owners, a former Kansas City Chiefs defensive end and 7-time Pro Bowler.
