Members of Eighth Blackbird perform with the Kansas City Symphony - October 2012.

This week co-hosts Michael Stern and Dan Margolies highlight works that feature multiple soloists. We'll hear music by Jennifer Higdon, Zoltán Koldáy, Antonio Vivaldi, Franz Joseph Haydn and Johann Sebastian Bach. These pieces include solo turns from members of the Kansas City Symphony, violinist Pinchas Zukerman, and the chamber ensemble Eighth Blackbird.

An agreement with the Kansas City Symphony allows us to share audio for this program up to four weeks after the program's original air date. You can listen to currently available episodes here.
