Teacher pay in Missouri, Kansas among nation's lowest

KANSAS CITY – The start of the school year is a little more than a month away. While teachers are gearing up for another year in the classroom, a new survey shows what they'll bring home in pay is lower in Kansas and Missouri than other states. K-C-U-R's Matt Hackworth spoke with Janet Bass, of the American federation of Teachers, about her group's salary survey that puts Kansas and Missouri among the lowest-paying states in the nation:
