K-State Developing Saliva Test For H1N1 Swine Flu

Manhattan, KS – Veterinary scientists at Kansas State University are working to develop new ways to detect viral infections in both pigs and humans.

As Kansas Public Radio's Bryan Thompson reports, it could eventually mean that diseases like H1N1 Swine Flu will be diagnosed without the need for blood testing. Listen to the story here.
