HNTB hires retired 4-star general to lead high growth subsidiary

Kansas City, MO – The Kansas City based design and engineering firm, HNTB has launched a new subsidiary in what they consider a growth industry: homeland security. They've hired retired Army General Barry McCaffrey to run the subsidiary. McCaffrey, who sat down with KCUR's Frank Morris, at HNTB's downtown Kansas City headquarters, says it's easy to identify counterterrorism job opportunities.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
