New Program to Train Women and Minorities in Construction Jobs

Kansas City, MO – Minority and women construction workers have claimed over the past year that they have been left out of the downtown building boom. And a recent city survey backs up that claim.

Now the city, local unions, and construction companies are joining forces to prepare more women and minorities for jobs in the construction industry. KCUR's Maria Carter reports.
