Missouri House Report on Immigration Reform

By Sylvia Maria Gross

Kansas City, MO – A Special Committee of the Missouri House of Representatives spent the summer holding hearings around the state on immigration reform. The committee issued a report on October 24. About a week and a half ago, committee members saw the final version of the group, all 10 Republicans signed the report, but all six Democrats refused. What got the most attention were a few comments about a link between immigration and legalized abortion. KCUR's Sylvia Maria Gross reports.
