Kansas City, MO – Tuesday marks the culmination of months of effort and planning for candidates for mayor and city council. The mayoral candidates Mark Funkhouser and Alvin Brooks have run very different campaigns and their get-out-the-vote efforts only sharpen the contrast.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
