The Bloch Building, the new addition at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, opens to the public June 9. But, if you take a look inside now, you'll see contemporary art installed in the new galleries, sleek information desks, and a new home for the Spencer Art Reference Library. The library opened in March on the second floor of the lobby lens, the tallest section of the Bloch Building. KCUR's Laura Spencer reports.

PLEASE NOTE: The Spencer Art Reference Library reopens for appointment-only on-site reference service on March 6. The library will open to all visitors on June 9.

Please call or e-mail in advance to arrange an appointment to use the library Tuesday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. during this period. Phone calls and e-mails will be answered during this period. The Nelson-Atkins Museum apologizes for any inconvenience to library users.
