An Interview with Poet Connie Dover

Kansas City, MO – Dover's first collection of poetry,Winter Count, draws from her life experiences, including working each year as a ranch cook in Wyoming. Connie Dover told KCUR's Laura Spencer that she was inspired to write poetry a few years ago at an open mic reading called The Pit at Prospero's Books.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
