Kansas City, MO – A jury convicted former Bush White House aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice in March. Later today, Libby will be sentenced, and some 150 letters will be released with recommendations for his punishment from four star general, former cabinet members, and other public figures. Sentencing letters in federal courts are normally left out of the case record. But in this case, the letters are being released, in part, because of a Kansas City woman.
