  • As the scramble continues following the announcement that Matt Blunt won't seek a second term, Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan says she's considering entering the Democratic governor's race, challenging Attorney General Jay Nixon. Carnahan is expected to seek a second term as secretary of state if she decides not to run for governor. And former Missouri State House Member Jack Jackson has announced he's running for Lt. Governor.
  • A 23-year-old man charged with killing his pregnant girlfriend in his Lansing mobile home Tuesday night appeared in court today.
