KANSAS CITY, MO – Voters in Missouri split along geographical lines, giving narrow victories to Senator John McCain, and Senator Barack Obama. KCUR sent reporters to reporters to watch parties for all the major candidates last night.

News Director Frank Morris joined about a dozen McCain supporters in a downtown restaurant.

Elana Gordon spent the night at a watch party for Mike Huckabee, McCain's closest rival in Missouri's Republican Primary.

Barack Obama supporters waited late into the night for results at the Uptown Theater. Sylvia Maria Gross was there.

Stephen Steigman joined Hillary Clinton backers as they chanted and cheered on results for their candidate.

KCUR prides ourselves on bringing local journalism to the public without a paywall — ever.
