KANSAS CITY, MO – Former Sprint Nextel Executive Gary Forsee took over as President of the University of Missouri last month. He spoke with KCUR's Elana Gordon. Forsee says he's experienced a high learning curve during his first weeks on the job. He also says UMKC's position as Kansas City's only public university is important for both the region and the university system.
