Kansas Supreme Court Rejects Funeral Picketing Law

KANSAS CITY, MO – The Kansas Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to validate the state's new law placing limits on picketing at funerals. Senator John Vratil of Leawood, chair of the Kansas Senate Judicial Committee, talked with KCUR's Steve Bell about that decision and a call by a Johnson County grand jury for changes in the state law allowing grand juryies to be summoned by petition.
