The Missouri House has passed a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow lawmakers to pass a voter photo-I.D. law. The resolution passed 88 to 69, along a party line vote. It now goes to the State Senate. U.S. Treasury Secretary William Paulson visited the Kansas City printing plant where economic stimulus checks are being produced. A federal jury decided that two Kansas City men are guilty of a hate-crime murder in the 2005 shooting of a black pedestrian.
