Spring Awakening, a Musical of Teenage Awakening

Kansas City, MO – Yet the musical Spring Awakening, which won 8 Tony Awards in 2007, has emerged to take its place. At a recent open-call audition in Overland Park, KCUR's Steve Walker discovered the show has become another touchstone for aspiring actors barely old enough to vote. Kansas City was the last stop in a coast-to-coast, 8 city audition tour.
