The Kansas City, Missouri city council finalized a resolution today that gives the Kansas City Police Department more say-so at KCI. Among other issues it calls for better communication and that airport officers be trained at the Police Academy.Nine council members introduced a resolution to provide policies and procedures regarding city volunteers. The ordinance would disqualify the mayor's wife from serving as a volunteer in his office.Kansas law enforcers report a rise in the number of meth lab busts in the state, but in Johnson County, there has been not one lab detected this year.
