  • Two executives of American Italian Pasta have pleaded guilty to bilking investors our of millions of dollars by artificially inflating stock prices.
  • Attorneys for a Wichita abortion provider are trying to get a judge to suppress evidence collected against Dr. George Tiller by Phill Kline and his successor Paul Morrison.
  • Kansas City Mayor Mark Funknhouser may try to get around a new ordinance that would ban his wife from City Hall by saying she isn't a volunteer.

    • Defunded, but not defeated.
    Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
