Kansas City, MO – GOP Presidential candidate John McCain stopped in Independence before the preceded the Senate debate and vote on Wall Street rescue last night.

With only a week left for voter registration in Missouri, Democratic nominee Barack Obama's wife, Michelle told supporters in Kansas City yesterday that they needed to reach out to people who are still not on the rolls.

The Kansas City Mayor's wife is once again at the center of a disagreement. This time with airport police. Gloria Squitiro confronted an officer after her car was ticketed for being left unattended at the airport.

The credit crisis is hitting city hall. Kansas City Missouri had planned to issue 200 million dollars in water bonds but has postponed, saying there aren't buyers right now.
