  • On their second debate, Missouri candidates for governor Jay Nixon and Kenny Hulshof sparred vigorously over health care policy, school vouchers and who is least likely to raise taxes.
  • Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden addressed a crowd of 1400 at William Jewell College this afternoon. Biden blasted Republican John McCain's second bailout plan as one that primarily helps banks.
