Barack Obama campaigns at Liberty Memorial Saturday; John McCain rallies his forces at a Belton high school Monday. Obama attendees are requested to "rsvp" at the campaign web site. The McCain rally requires tickets, available through that campaign's web site.

Traffic tie-ups are expected Saturday from Waldo through midtown as 8,000 runners pound the pavement in the annual Kansas City Marathon.

With the homicide count at 107, police say there may be connections between two east side homicides and the shooting of an 11-year-old girl in a house in the same neighborhood.
