  • Mayor Mark Funkhouser livened his latest pro-light-rail campaign event with a fictitious protest group called "COWS" and a live longhorn steer.
  • The Kansas City, MO city council has ended a lawsuit over who has the power to fire the city manager by agreeing to pay $35,000 in legal fees for paintiff Bill Skaggs.
