  • A man who was nearly John McCain's running mate was in Kansas city. Governor Tim Pawlenty, a McCain advisor, listened to home builders' economic concerns.
  • Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh predicts a record turnout Tuesday, possibly as high as 78 percent of registered voters.
