Kansas City, MO –
Voter turnouts across Kansas and Missouri appear to be as high as predicted, but at most polling locations all is going smoothly as of 4PM,Some voters have received phone text messages advising (fraudulently)that because of crowding, Obama voters are asked to vote tomorrow. The Secretary of State says such misleading messages are a felony, and her office is investigating.Voters at some mid-town Kansas City polls had one and two hour waits during the morning voting rush after voter registration lists were delivered to the wrong polling places. As of mid-afternoon, election officials in Platte County and around the area say the supply of ballots is so far equal to the turnout.
