Kansas City, MO – The pension fund for many public employees in Kansas has lost 27 percent of its value since the first of the year.

Missouri is facing it's own budget problems. Poor retail sales are contributing to a decline in Missouri tax revenues.

A Missouri state Senator is looking to make up some of that revenue from the internet. Democrat Joan Bray says she will try again to pass a tax collection system that makes it easier for states to get revenue from sales on the Internet.

The battle over campaign contribution limits in Missouri will resume next year.

In Kansas, expect another round of Legislative wranglings over coal-fired power plants.

Three men who answered online ads for top-of-the-line iPhones at a bargain price were robbed at gunpoint in the same Kansas City neighborhood.
