Kansas City, MO – A smoking ban is coming to Kansas City, Kansas. The new ordinance bans smoking in all indoor areas but it excludes tobacco shops, casino gaming floors, and already existing clubs.

Kansas Citians will pay for trash collection, the police department will be integrated into city government, and the jail and Truman Medical Center would become regional - that's if recommendations of a consulting group are implemented.
