Democrats in the Kansas Legislature have announced a series of proposals that they say will help workers who are bearing the brunt of the recession.

Missouri's revenues are forecast to grow during the next fiscal year, but only by one percent.

It was an alleged crime so outlandish, even veteran observers of the Kansas City crime scene were surprised at details outlined at the federal courthouse.

A Platte County employee is charged with pocketing about $16,000 in tax payments.

Police suspect vandalism at 11 locations around Kansas City is connected. Catholic churches, banks, political offices, and wealthy neighborhoods have all been struck.
