Kansas City, MO – Peggy Noland is an offbeat clothing designer with a 50-square foot boutique in the Crossroads District. The store has been up and running for three years now. When KCUR's Gina Kaufmann visited Noland in her shop in February, her clothing line consisted of snuggly soft, loose-fitting baby clothes for adults -- all in a pastel palette.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.

Your support has always made KCUR's work possible — from reporting that keeps officials accountable, to storytelling to connects our community. Help ensure the future of local journalism.
