Kansas City, MO – Charges are expected to be filed today against the man suspected of shooting killing abortion provider Dr. George Tiller.

Local activists were quick to react to the murder yesterday. Mary Kay Culp, Executive Director of Kansans for Life a group opposing abortions says the murder is a setback for the pro-life movement.

The Missouri health department has ramped down its surveillance of swine flu.

Contractors are lining up for a Kansas City Chiefs training-camp project in St. Joeseph, but funding could still be frozen when the project breaks ground a month from now.
