Kansas City, MO – The Missouri Supreme Court has ruled that sex offenders who committed crimes before 1995 will still have to put their names on the state sex offender registry.

The Missouri Supreme Court says a private jail in western Missouri must pay taxes on food, clothes and other products for inmates.

About a hundred and fifty people packed a meeting room at the Kansas City Missouri school district headquarters last night. Many came to protest the closing of about a dozen schools.

Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson is asking for federal disaster assistance for 28 counties.

There are too many deer at Shawnee Mission Park, according to wildlife experts. But there is a deep divide about what to do about the problem.
