Kansas City, MO – The University of Kansas is asking students with swine flu to stay home until they are well. The university has 32 confirmed cases of the virus, and university officials are asking its 27,000 students to take action to avoid it.

The Kansas State Foundation says it received $81.5 million in contributions during the last fiscal year. That's down 18 percent from the last year.

Elected officials heard indirectly from the grass roots over the weekend as opponents and supporters of health care reform took to the streets.
