Kansas City, MO – Healthcare reform was only part of the questions from audience at Missouri's 6th District Congressman Sam Graves held a listening session late yesterday in the Northland.

A healthcare forum in Jefferson City got a little more rowdy. Nearly 400 people turned out last night for Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill's latest town hall meeting.

Facing a budget trimmed $300,000 by the city council, Liberty Memorial officials are asking permission to use 90 percent of the interest from the Liberty Memorial Endowment fund for routine maintenance on the Kansas City landmark.

The Kansas Board of Regents plans to setup a task force to study changing admission standards state universities.

Congress just eliminated federal funding for KCUR, but public radio is for the people.
