Correction: New Diabetes Center Cost $1 Million, Not $20 Million

Monday KCUR incorrectly reported that a new diabetes clinic at Truman Medical Centers came from a $20 million Health Care Foundation grant. The Diabetes Center construction and new equipment purchases totaled just under $1 million dollars. The renovation of the center and relocation of diabetes services came out of a funding allocation from Missouri's Medicaid Program.
