The Missouri Senate has put together an alternate version of the auto incentives bill, after the version passed by the House was blocked by the Senate committee.

Hundreds turned out Thursday to bid on furniture, fixtures and other finds from the White Haven Motor Lodge. The longtime fixture on Metcalf Avenue closed last month. The auction continues Friday.

Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson has endorsed state Senator Tom Holland in the race for Kansas governor. Holland is the only Democrat running for office. Two Republicans, Kansas Senator Sam Brownback, and Joan Heffington, will compete in the August primary for their party's nomination.
